2. Scope¶

This policy covers all products and services operated by ANULUM Research, including:

Director-AI — open-source LLM hallucination guardrail (PyPI, GitHub)
SC-NeuroCore — spiking neural network library (PyPI, GitHub)
Associated documentation sites hosted on GitHub Pages
Email communications from @anulum.li addresses

3. Data We Collect¶

3.1 PyPI Package Downloads¶

We do not collect telemetry, usage data, or analytics from our PyPI packages. pip install director-ai does not phone home.

3.2 Documentation Sites (GitHub Pages)¶

Our documentation sites (e.g., anulum.github.io/director-ai/) are static sites hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, referrer). See GitHub's Privacy Statement.

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies on our documentation sites.

3.3 Email Communications¶

When you email us or we email you (e.g., partnership inquiries, outreach), we store:

Your email address and name
Email content and attachments
Timestamps

We use this data solely to respond to your inquiry and manage business relationships.

3.4 GitHub Interactions¶

When you open issues, pull requests, or discussions on our GitHub repositories, GitHub processes that data under GitHub's terms.

3.5 Commercial Licenses¶

If you purchase a commercial license (via Polar), Polar processes payment data under Polar's Privacy Policy. We receive your name, email, and license tier. We do not store payment card details.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share data with:

GitHub — repository hosting, issue tracking, CI/CD
PyPI — package distribution (no user data shared)
Polar — license management and payments
Email provider — Webhouse.sk (SMTP/IMAP hosting, Switzerland/EU)

6. Data Retention¶

Email correspondence: retained for the duration of the business relationship, then deleted within 12 months of last contact.
License records: retained for the duration of the license plus any legally required retention period.
GitHub data: retained as long as the repository exists, governed by GitHub's policies.

You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Rectify inaccurate data
Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
Restrict processing
Object to processing based on legitimate interest
Data portability — receive your data in a structured format

We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security¶

We protect data through:

Encrypted email (TLS in transit)
SSH key authentication for all infrastructure
No plaintext credential storage
AGPL-3.0 open-source code subject to public audit

9. Children¶

Our products are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes¶

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
