The repository is licensed under AGPL-3.0-or-later; the text is in LICENSES/AGPL-3.0-or-later.txt and LICENSE. A commercial licence is available for uses the AGPL does not suit; contact protoscience@anulum.li. Licensing metadata follows REUSE 3.x; see REUSE.toml.

Third-party material

• Vendored source: none.
• Vendor tools and IP: the planned instrument targets the Microchip PolarFire SoC Icicle Kit and will use Microchip Libero SoC, Microchip IP cores, the Hart Software Services and a Microchip board support package. None of them is, or will be, distributed with this repository: tool projects will be generated by scripts, and vendor software will be fetched at pinned revisions under its own licence.
• Development tools: the Python packages in requirements-dev.txt are installed from the package index, not distributed here; their licences are recorded in development-dependency-licences.json.
• Workflow actions and hook repositories: referenced by commit and not distributed here.
• Cited publications: referenced by citation and DOI only; no copy is distributed.

Product names such as PolarFire and Libero belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the hardware and tools.
